Imagine this: Your child arrives and checks in, marking the start of an exciting day.
They begin with a joint warm-up session in the gym with all dancers, energizing their bodies through conditioning, flexibility exercises, and fun ice-breaker games with friends.
Following the warm-up, the dancers split into smaller, age-appropriate groups and transition between two dynamic spaces and 3 simultaneous sessions.
The Air Conditioned Chin Studio: Here, with its sprung floors, ballet barres and mirrors, dancers will take turns attending ballet and funk/hip hop classes.
The Gym: Equipped with professional mats, this space is dedicated to tumbling and skills sessions, providing a safe environment for practicing daring moves and building strength.
As the day unfolds, sessions rotate between cheer, funk/hip hop, ballet, tumbling and dedicated choreography rehearsals—each class building toward a dazzling performance at our live showcase.
Scheduled breaks allow the dancers time to change shoes, grab a snack, and rest between their sessions.
After lunch (with the Pre K - 1 dancers heading home), the students resume classes in their smaller groups again.
The day ends with a brief rehearsal of their choreography, for the showcase at the Bozich Center.
June 27th your dancer gets to shine in front of family and friends, celebrating their growth, passion, and the magic of dance. 💫
Invite your friends, and secure your spots now and give your dancer an unforgettable summer of exploration, performance, and endless fun.

This brand-new summer dance workshop will be held at Maui Prep the weeks of
June 16 (no classes on Juneteenth) and June 23.
Students in Grades 2-12 will participate in daily classes of cheer, tumbling, funk/hip hop, ballet and strength and conditioning
from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m each day.
Students in Grades Pre K–1 join from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for ballet, funk/hip hop, and tumbling (no cheer).
This setting helps dancers build confidence, refine technique, and connect with fellow students—all leading to a casual evening performance on
June 27 at the Graham Theater in the
Bozich Center.
This is a first-come, first-served
opportunity—we're hopeful spaces will fill quickly, especially with sibling discounts
and special bundle rates for attending both weeks.
In all transparency, to host our exceptional trainers,
deliver a live performance, and bring in resources for our students, a minimum number of student enrollments is required to make it work.
If enrollment targets are not met, adjustments to the trainers may made, you will be notified and refunds will be offered.
(We're hopeful this won't be the case at all ☺️)
Please note aftercare is offered through All-Star sports in the gym from 2-4. Students should bring their own lunch and snacks,
and parents are not permitted to watch classes to avoid distractions.

Does my child need to be a Maui Prep student?
No. Our camp is open to all young dancers, regardless of school affiliation. Everyone is welcome!
How are the classes organized by age?
Our classes are thoughtfully divided into 3 age-specific groups to ensure that every dancer receives instruction tailored to their developmental stage and skill level. This age-based grouping not only creates a supportive environment but also allows our instructors to design lessons that are engaging, fun, and perfectly suited to each group’s unique learning pace.
If my child only attends one week, can they still perform?
Yes, absolutely! Even if your child joins us for only one week, they will still have the opportunity to perform. We will hold a rehearsal on the 27th, followed by our showcase. Just keep in mind that children attending both weeks will be performing twice as much, so there are extra performance opportunities for extended participation.
Does my child have to have previous dance experience?
Not at all. Experience is not a requirement. What matters most is that your child is excited to attend and willing to learn. We foster a supportive environment where every child’s enthusiasm is welcome.
What is your cancellation or refund policy?
Due to our commitment to compensating our dedicated teachers, refunds or cancellations are only considered under extenuating circumstances. If you believe you qualify for a refund due to unforeseen or exceptional situations, please contact us directly at [email protected] to discuss your specific case.
Can my child participate on drop-in days?
Currently, our program enrolls students by the week. Drop-in days are not available at this time.
What items will my dancer need?
Please make sure your dancer brings the following: Ballet slippers and ballet tights, A leotard, Clean athletic shoes for funk/hip hop and cheer, Bare feet for tumbling, Appropriate dance attire. A drink bottle, lunch and snacks. Hair must be pulled back from the face and tied up. More information will be sent out closer to the time.
What if my child only wants to do some dance styles?
We require all dancers to attend every class. We believe that exploring a variety of dance styles is not only fun but also essential for developing well-rounded skills. Learning choreography for each style expands their technique, fosters versatility, and ultimately helps them grow as performers.
What age qualifies for Pre K, and is the class suitable for my child?
Children aged 4 years old qualify for Pre K. However, it's important to consider your child's unique temperament—whether they have the attention span, discipline, and willingness to actively participate in dance classes. Ultimately, as a parent, you know best if the class will be a positive and engaging experience for your child.
Is there aftercare available for the dance camp?
Yes! Aftercare is available through All-Star Sports at the Bozich Center immediately after our dance camp ends. Please note that this program is not run through Prime Dance—it’s managed entirely by All-Star Sports. To register your child for aftercare, please sign them up directly through their system at this link.
